Design Projects

Highly creative, innovative, unique. Projects in Maryland, D.C., N.Carolina, Florida and Georgia. We begin with a client consultation where we learn what is unique to that client, what is important - their lifestyle, family, pets, etc. Every project has unique properties as it develops, falling into place, until all the pieces have been gathered and the canvas is complete.

HIGHLIGHTS

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS AND PROJECTS:   Read about some of our projects and what our clients have said about working with Legacy.  Our philosophy is simple:  Your surroundings should give you comfort and pleasure and it is our job to orchestrate that.  Our client testimonials speak for themselves.

     2006 Dream Home
The Wilmont by Renaissance Development, site of the 2006 Dream Home, sponsored by Atlanta Home Magazine benefitting Camp Twin Lakes, gave Vicki Posey, Kelley Ivie Boyd and Courtney McEachin an opportunity to shine!

     RWC SHOWCASE TOUR 2006
A STUDY OF THE ARTS, designed by LDG, is a great hit among the thousands of visitors!

     Makeover Magic! - Kennesaw, Georgia
The home of an accomplished pianist was in need of a new look. She decided to spend her money to make her home beautiful rather than purchasing a new car! I like her thinking!

Down By The Old Mill Stream - Marietta Georgia
Through the vision of the designer, the talent of a true artist, the work of an exceptional contractor, and the client’s trust, willingness and openness to the aesthetic, this project came to life!

     Getting The Royal Treatment
This dining room filled with beautiful Regency antiques and reproductions called for an elegant window treatment. I designed beautiful damask drapery panels with gilded cornices and lavish trim.

     Contemporary Contemplation - Suburban Atlanta
The client already had a beautiful table and chairs and carpet but the room lacked character and punch. There was no drama. The window lacked definition and the art was totally lost on the large wall.

     From Colonial to Neoclassic
Colonial design reigns supreme but wasn’t correct for the new homeowner’s Neoclassic dining room furniture.

     Commercial Projects
Commercial interior design projects have been completed in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia. They include real estate companies, law firms and schools. Medical facilities have brought special challenges and unique opportunities to design for the aged and those suffering from terminal illness. This work can be especially rewarding. The list is extensive and varied and I hope it will continue to grow.
